In Kitholhu sub county, Kasese district over twenty (20)citizens were beaten, unclothed and detained by armed forces ordered by the village chairman NRM yesterday at around 12:00 noon at the home of FDC woman councilor for Kyabikere parish celebrating. The parish male councilor was met on the way and was injured (bleeding through the mouth). Sources say the main road was blocked with bricks yesterday night when the area MP's car was crossing but no one seen. Suspects are still detained at police. Sent on 9/03/2011 7:25am.
